As the Executive Director of the Casper-Natrona County Health Department, the Executive Director leads the Health Department in carrying out its mission to promote and protect the health of all Natrona County residents. The Executive Director plans and establishes Health Department programs and services, reviews all agency activities, works cooperatively with Staff from various local and State agencies, ensures compliance with public health statutes and regulations, and performs complex professional and administrative work. This position works with established policies and procedures with supervisory oversight from the Natrona County Board of Health.
PRN Disease Prevention Clinic Registered Nurse
A nurse in this position will perform assessments, diagnosis, treatment, planning, implementation and evaluation to individuals, families and groups, or to the population as a whole providing services in the Immunization Programs, Family Planning Programs, Sexually transmitted Disease Programs, Tuberculosis Management Services, to all age groups. Settings include clinic, mass vaccination clinics, classrooms/groups and counsels clients regarding health issues and problems. This position participates in epidemiological (vaccine preventable) investigations and participates in public health emergency response activities.
Disease Prevention Clerical/Billing Specialist
The Disease Prevention Receptionist functions as one of multiple receptionists for the Disease Prevention Program and Casper Natrona County Health Department (CNCHD) clinic. The Disease Prevention Receptionist is responsible for a high level of customer service at all times for external/internal customers, vendors, and other visitors. This position is responsible for answering incoming telephone lines, patient scheduling, patient check-in, patient financial services and collecting payment, having a high level of knowledge of all CNCHD programs in order to assist all customers, including skill with the electronic medical record and data entry.
The Nurse Practitioner who will ensure the delivery of essential public health services and client services through programs that include immunizations, Title X family planning, sexually-transmitted disease clinic, and epidemiologic disease follow-up. Our health department serves the Natrona County community by promoting healthy behaviors and equal access to quality health care and serves as a resource for current and reliable health information. Work activities will focus on the provision of women’s health services under the Title X Family Planning program.
