As the Executive Director of the Casper-Natrona County Health Department, the Executive Director leads the Health Department in carrying out its mission to promote and protect the health of all Natrona County residents. The Executive Director plans and establishes Health Department programs and services, reviews all agency activities, works cooperatively with Staff from various local and State agencies, ensures compliance with public health statutes and regulations, and performs complex professional and administrative work. This position works with established policies and procedures with supervisory oversight from the Natrona County Board of Health.
Disease Prevention Clerical/Billing Specialist
The Disease Prevention Receptionist functions as one of multiple receptionists for the Disease Prevention Program and Casper Natrona County Health Department (CNCHD) clinic. The Disease Prevention Receptionist is responsible for a high
level of customer service at all times for external/internal customers, vendors, and other visitors. This position is responsible for answering incoming telephone lines, patient scheduling, patient check-in, patient financial services and collecting payment, having a high level of knowledge of all CNCHD programs in order to assist all customers, including skill with the electronic medical record and data entry.
Maternal and Child Health Nurse
A nurse in this position performs medical case management (MCM) services to pregnant women, newborns/infant/toddlers, and their families. These services include client centered services linking clients with health care, psychosocial, and other services. This position ensures timely and coordinated access to medically appropriate levels of health care and support services as well as continuity of care through ongoing assessment of the
client’s needs and personal support systems..
Public Health Preparedness Specialist
Reporting to the Public Health Preparedness (PHP) Manager, specialists will perform those duties assigned including maintaining appropriate documentation of activities, responding to various emergencies, teaching cardio pulmonary resuscitation classes, coordinating the activities of the volunteer Natrona County Medical Reserve Corps and assisting the PHP Manager in planning, training and implementing the emergency operations plan and exercises.
