The Casper-Natrona County Health Department is proud to introduce our brand new facility! Opening next year, this new space is more than a building; it’s a commitment to a healthier future.

Our mission is to protect and enhance public health and wellness in Natrona County. The new building supports this mission with: 

  • Expanded space and state-of-the-art facilities that will allow CNCHD to meet the growing health needs of Natrona County by increasing access to care, improving health outcomes, and enhancing staff efficiency
  • Increased accessibility and visibility to the community, giving the community a greater connection to the vast health resources available to them

The New Building will have:

  • Expanded clinical spaces for faster and more comprehensive service delivery
  • Dedicated areas to host and provide trainings, prevention activities, and community meetings
  • Enhanced accessibility for individuals with disabilities, ensuring an inclusive environment for everyone
  • A well-designed drive-through to remove the complexity of parking and improve the ease of drive-through testing and vaccinations 
  • Cutting-edge technology for modern healthcare needs with sustainable, energy-efficient features
Funding Sources

The new facility is supported by a combination of grant funding and local resources, including:

  • $15.5 million from the County American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021
  • $4.5 million from the State Loan and Investment Board ARPA funds
  • $1.5 million in Congressional Directed Spending
  • $1 million from the CNCHD reserve account

Additional funding comes from past Natrona County 1% funds, internal CNCHD resources, and anticipated future county allocations.
