COVID-19 INFORMATION AND REQUESTS NOW ONLINE

CASPER, WYOMING (November 25, 2020) – The Casper-Natrona County Health Department (CNCHD) has updated their website with COVID-19 related information including testing information, isolation and quarantine instructions and a new convenient way to request documentation.

The new pages, Testing Information, I Tested Positive, I’m a Close Contact of a Positive Case and Complaints are all designed to ensure quality, timely, transparent and accurate information to the public. The public is also able to request documentation and submit concerns through these channels. Visit casperpublichealth.org. to see more.

Up until now, the public has had to call CNCHD’s COVID-19 hotline to access all of this same information. Although the hotline will still be operating, it now better serves callers who need testing and will prevent much of the back and forth calls that have been necessary to gather information. The website’s new information and forms will provide timely response and
information to the public.

CNCHD remains devoted to contact tracing of positive cases, promoting preventative measures and ensuring the community is protecting themselves and others from COVID-19.

COVID-19 is still present in our community and now more than ever it requires each person to do their part. Things like washing hands often, using hand sanitizer when hand washing is unavailable, avoiding close contact with people who are sick, staying home if you are sick, practicing social distancing, covering the mouth and nose with a cloth face cover when around others and in public, covering coughs and sneezes, and cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces are crucial.

If you are experiencing flu like symptoms or have had direct contact with a known positive case, please seek testing through the Casper-Natrona County Health Department by visiting caspervcovid.com or by calling 307-577- 9892.
