Health Department assures residents it does not administer door-to-door COVID-19 vaccinations

CASPER, WYOMING (July 23, 2021) – The Casper-Natrona County Health Department has recently fielded numerous calls from concerned citizens regarding door-to-door COVID vaccinations, and organization representatives want all residents to know that the CNCHD is not in any way involved in this type of canvassing to either administer vaccines or distribute information.

The CNCHD does not make unsolicited home visits under any circumstances, and if someone does come to your house to offer a vaccine on behalf of the Healthy Department, Public Information Officer Hailey Bloom says to call the police. “We do not issue vaccines door-to-door and have no plans to do so in the future,” she said. Reputable partner agencies including Banner Wyoming Medical Center also does not administer vaccines in this fashion.

COVID cases in Wyoming and Natrona County are surging, and vaccines remain the best way to slow the spread across our community. Despite misinformation regarding door-to-door visits, all vaccines are still being administered daily at the CNCHD clinic, and appointments are available now.
