Our Mission

The City of Casper – Natrona County Health Department is committed to protecting and enhancing the public health and well-being in Casper and Natrona County.

We believe that a healthy community is the foundation of a thriving society, and we are dedicated to providing essential services that support this goal. With two convenient locations—our main office at 475 S. Spruce Street in Casper and a satellite clinic at 426 4th St. in Mills—we offer a range of clinical services, including low-cost vaccinations and preventive care, to make healthcare accessible to everyone.

Beyond clinical services, we actively work on shaping policies, improving environmental conditions, and addressing various public health factors to create a healthier, safer environment for all residents. Our team is here to support and enhance the Natrona County community, making it a better place to live, work, and thrive.

We are committed to adhering to all applicable federal, state, and local laws, ensuring equal employment opportunities, and upholding all employment regulations. Our goal is to maintain a work environment and provide services to our community and surrounding areas that are free from harassment, discrimination, or retaliation based on age, race, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation (including transgender status, gender identity, or expression), pregnancy (including childbirth, lactation, and related medical conditions), physical or mental disability, genetic information (including testing and characteristics), veteran status, uniformed service member status, or any other protected category as outlined by law.

We recognize that the diverse backgrounds of those we serve and our employees can impact their response to health department services. As such, the CNCHD is committed to ongoing efforts to raise awareness among our staff about the importance of considering different cultural experiences when fulfilling their duties. Furthermore, we will continue to offer education and training that promotes cultural sensitivity and equips our staff to maintain cultural competence in their work.
