Tuberculosis Testing + Control

The Disease Prevention Clinic is responsible for conducting routine screening and testing for tuberculosis. Additionally, we handle the case management of patients diagnosed with latent tuberculosis (LTBI). Our clinic cooperates with Wyoming Department of Health Communicable Disease Unit and follows national guidelines on screening, follow-up, and treatment of tuberculosis.

Two-step PPD skin tests for tuberculosis screenings are available on Tuesday’s 8:00am-12:00pm by appointment or walk in. Tuberculosis testing may be offered by the clinic on additional days of the week on a case-by-case basis, depending on staff availability, public health importance of test to individual, and other factors. Please call the clinic to inquire about the availability of tuberculosis screening on days other than Tuesdays.

All patients getting the two-step PPD skin tests for tuberculosis screening must be able to return to CNCHD between 48 to 72 hours after your skin test was placed to get the results.

Please call 577-9757 for more information.

A parent or legal guardian must accompany children under 18.
